Choosing a Rottweiler puppy
We have specific requirements when selling our puppies and we will only sell Massiverots puppies to be family pets, we don’t sell them for breeding and we have a strictly no breeding policy and make no exceptions.
As a family pet a massiverots female rottweiler puppy will offer you loads of love and affection but it will offer you so much more, so the first step in choosing a Massiverots puppy should be taken before you ever see the puppies, first you must decide what you want from it.
Companionship – this will come with any of our puppies automatically so this is no challenge at all.
Obedience – containing most of the top working blood lines in Europe our puppies have this in shed loads so that’s another easy one.
Cost – our female rottweilers are a third cheaper than the male counterparts so that helps on your pocket.
Protection – this one takes a little more thought, a lot of people are interested in coming to Massiverots for a puppy and they may work on oil rigs or are in the armed forces and other trades that keep them away from home so they prefer a more protective type of dog to watch over their family while they are not able to do this. It also applies to a lot of people who are just away all day at work – in these days of ever rising crime there is no better deterant than a massive Rottweiler.
These type of dogs although very capable of backing up their threats are not vicious or unpredictable and will still offer the same soft and loving nature to your family and also friends when properly introduced we will explain all about this on the day you visit us.
To select a puppy that will be more protective the best thing is not to pick the most friendly one that is the first to come for affection, look for a pup that hangs back a bit and is a little more reserved and weighing you up that’s one that won’t be bought by a biscuit or a kind word it will love you just the same as any of the other pups in no time at all but it will belong to your family and your family only.
A dog like this gives a person the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their loved ones are safe back home.
Service dogs, we have had a lot of our puppies that have gone to work in various places as service dogs in places such as special needs schools and care homes and spend their lives bringing great joy to people who are less fortunate than ourselves, for this purpose it is best to pick a very outgoing but slightly less excitable puppy.
General family pets. This is the easiest one just pick the one you like the best they all make great pets!
Male or Female, this is the dilemma males are the biggest and are more impressive but in our opinion that’s where it ends, in every other aspect the girls come out on top, a dog will be obedient but when you call him he will come but he will have to pee up a few things on the way, a girl is yours 100% of the time and will almost train herself, we love our boys they’re great dogs – but to be totally honest if we didn’t need stud dogs we would only have females but that’s only our opinion and that is said with over 50 years experience of both male and female rottweilers.
Massiverots females are usually bigger than other breeders’ male dogs or they are somewhere close to that size.
